'Sallente em Vermelho', an adaptation of the earlier work 'Sallente' on a grander scale. This work is 120 x 100 cm, and would be an exquisite statement piece to bring much needed colour into a space. The painting is intricately composed, with extensive repetition to create its unique appearance. When we look closely at the piece, you will see a entirely different painting below the surface, highlighting the labour that has been used to create the pieces depth. 

 

 'Untitled Blue' 2021 is a piece featuring a new palette of colours, that Ana has been working with in a series of new works. The electric, ultramarine blue largely features, often used as a base colour and other vibrant colours are added on top with a palette knife to create amazing unique patterns.
