SINK INTO SUBMERGE: 2021
This time two weeks ago over at the Ana Archer Art Studio Gallery, Ana and represented artist Chloe Hinde showcased their art at September’s open gallery event SUBMERGE: 2021. Once a month the Ana Archer Art Studio Gallery brings people together for an evening event where we can chat as art lovers, friends and bypassers keen to see what we’re all about.
September was particularly special as for the first time this year, we were truly able to connect with new artists, collectors and likeminded locals after months of absence due to pandemic difficulties. The Algarve is bustling once more, and this spirit is manifesting into our new art.
This month the title SUBMERGE is reflective of both Ana and Chloe’s current work depicting themes of water, the sea and the environmental impact that our beaches are pershably enduring. Experiencing the changing landscape first hand is undoubtably shaping the content of work as artists due to its crippling impact on the natural world and organic matter that has provided such huge inspiration for our art.
