The Gallery Doors Are Open

As we move forward in the current worldly situation, businesses can now open up, meaning we can experience culture again. After being void for so long, our souls crave meaningful, tactile, brain flowing stimulation- and that’s where we come in.

At the Ana Archer Art Gallery we are now open, getting prepared for the eventual influx of post-pandemic visitor's and we are working hard towards creating an exhibition opening for everyone to come down, celebrate being together once again and check out some art over a glass of wine. We simply cannot wait for people to arrive.

If you haven't been to the studio gallery before, we are located in the town of Carvoeiro in The Algarve district of Portugal. It's an amazing space where you can not only explore the art from a gallery setting, you can also see the process as the artist's work in the studio area. This gives an insight that you don’t typically get to see and is something that Ana always wants to offer. She loves the idea of sharing her practice, her processes and talking about what she's working on. It creates a personability that you don’t get from other art galleries. We don’t want to be that commercial gallery you feel you can't enter because you don’t understand abstract art. We want to join you on the journey.

Ana has been working tirelessly on her practice during the pandemic, making some exquisite new work that shouldn’t be missed. As her collection is growing, there really is something for everyone's taste. From abstract colour formations to impressionist seascapes, large personified sculptures to hand painted clutch bags, Ana is always experimenting with different mediums and techniques.

Alongside Ana’s portfolio of art, the gallery is now offering a collection by a newcomer artist that Ana is representing. Artist in residence Chloe Hinde recently moved from Manchester UK, to Carvoeiro, to gain new influences and experiences to heighten her practice. Her work is also abstract, focusing strongly on colour and layering techniques to portray environmental experiences.

Come visit us, we’d love to share some much-needed experiences with you once again.
